Kim Ul-boon’s tasteful performance as the grandmother received rave reviews. Other than Yoo Seung-ho, who played Sang-woo, the rest of the film is flanked by amateurs from the village where it was filmed, which adds to the rustic atmosphere.

Jonathan Safran Foer’s best-selling novel has been brilliantly adapted to the screen by Stephen Daldry, director of such classics as The Hours and The Little Dancer.

Oscar, who lost his father on 9/11, found one key. Oscar believes that the key contains a message from his father, and he runs around New York trying to unlock the secret without telling his mother.

26. Short Term 12

A moving human drama about the rebirth of a dark-hearted employee woman and her wounded children.

This movie is also known as the outgrowth of Brie Larson, who would later won an Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for ‘Room’.

Jaden, a young girl who works at Short Term 12, a shelter for minors with various problems, is put in charge by Grace. While dealing with Jayden’s struggles with his father’s abuse, he is also forced to confront the darkness of his own heart.

She has received rave reviews at film festivals around the world, including Best Actress at the Locarno International Film Festival and the Special Jury Prize at the South by Southwest Film Festival. The hope and joy of life that the heroine and the children eventually have is heart-warming.

27. Nebraska

This is a road movie masterpiece from director Alexander Payne, who is acclaimed for his warm-eyed human dramas such as “Family Tree” and “Sideways”.

His son, David, reluctantly accompanies Woody, an elderly father who believes he’s won $1 million and insists on going to Nebraska, far away from Montana, to collect the prize. Renowned actor Bruce Dern, who played Woody, a heavy drinker and difficult to handle, won the Best Actor award at the Cannes Film Festival. In addition to being stubborn, it has a unique charm that cannot help but be loved.
