This movie takes your to school that trains the world’s best pilots, a.k.a. Top Gun. It’s located at Naval Base Miramar, California. The film is a coming-of-age ensemble drama of young pilots, centered on Mitchell (Call Sign: Maverick).

Shot with the help of the U.S. Air Force, the film features real aircraft carriers and fighter jets, and realistic and powerful battle scenes.

Tom Cruise plays Maverick, Val Kilmer plays the rival Iceman, and Meg Ryan plays as the heroine. Also, all these actors came into the limelight as emerging young talents after this movie’s success.

2. Air Force One (1997)

In the action film “Air Force One,” the President himself battles with terrorists to get back the hijacked Air Force One, which has been hijacked by terrorists.

The President of the United States, James Marshall, receives a rousing ovation for his speech at a dinner with the President of Russia saying, “We will never give in to terrorism. Later, as he returns home on Air Force One with his family, he is attacked by a terrorist among the people on board.

Harrison Ford plays a fighting president in this much talked about film. There are plenty of action scenes inside the plane, as well as fighter jets that are sent out to save the president, which is a must-see for airplane lovers.

3. Sully: Miracle on Hudson (2016)

The Miracle on Hudson, directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Tom Hanks, is a human drama about a real-life aviation accident and the truth behind it.

January 15, 2009. A sudden total engine failure strikes an airliner flying over New York City in extreme cold, and although the control room tells the 70-ton plane to land at a nearby airport to avoid crashing into the big city, Captain Sally finds it impossible to do so. He was determined to make an untimely landing on the Hudson River, and he did so with flying colors.

Despite saving so many lives, a question still remained; “Was that decision really the right one?”. He is hounded by the Accident Investigation Committee in its stern pursuit of him.

4. Dunkirk (2017)

Winner of three awards at the 90th Academy Awards – Best Editing, Best Sound Recording and Best Sound Editing – Dunkirk is a war film about the 1940 withdrawal from the coast of Dunkerque, France. The entire operation is powerfully depicted from three perspectives: land, sea, and air.

The platoon, led by Royal Air Force pilot Faria, engages in a tense air battle to stop the Luftwaffe from sabotaging the withdrawal operation.

Being the first film based on historical facts by filmmaker Christopher Nolan, the aerial offensive is also thoroughly realistic.

5. Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation (2015)

Mission: Impossible/Rogue Nation, the fifth film in the hugely popular “Mission: Impossible” spy film series. Each time, the show is highlighted by the physical action of lead actor Tom Cruise.

In the beginning of the film, which follows the underworld known as the Syndicate, the scene in which the main character, Ethan Hunt, hangs from the airplane door became a hot topic. I was surprised to learn that this scene was performed by Tom Cruise himself.

6. Iron Man 3 (2013)

This movie features a memorable rescue scene of 13 people from a crashing plane.

Iron Man has become the top of Marvel’s popular heroes now. In this movie, Tony Stark wears a powered suit to fight crime and save the world. Later along the stroy, you see 13 people jump from a crashing airplane. You get to see Iron Man soaring through the sky to save these innocent lives.

How did Iron Man, who can only hold up to four people at a time, rescue 13 people? This scene makes the whole movie a must-watch for action lovers.
